Cambridge Academy is proud to host a seminar with Maul Mornie in March 2015. Maul Mornie is a Silat Master from Seria, a small town in Brunei, but he is currently based here in the United Kingdom. His YouTube channel, Maul565, now has several thousand subscribers, and millions of upload views.

Undoubtedly the major event of the martial arts world, in 2013, was the World Combat Games in St Petersburg in October. Fifteen International Martial Arts & Combat Sports Federations took part in the Games, bringing over 2000 athletes together for 10 days.

With great pleasure, we welcome Annukka Volotinen from Finland, current World Vice-Champion in Savate Combat and Florence Quist, top competitor and trainer, currently living in Belgium who will teach both Savate Assaut and Savate Combat skills.

Senior Instructor Ollie Batts has been honoured with a top awarded for his services to martial arts. Accompanied by several senior students and members of his family, Ollie was presented with the award at the Martial Arts Illustrated Hall of Fame presentation evening in Burton-on-Trent in November.
 

Cambridge Academy Instructor, Morgan Alexander, represented Great Britain in the World Savate Assaut Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, from Friday 31st August to Sunday 2nd September. 200 fighters from more than 30 countries took part in the Championships.
